Grace Kids

“Our kids have grown with God at CGLC. The teachers and volunteers have been supportive with our children from babies to high school and beyond. Even when they drifted from the church as teens or had doubts, they continued to reach out and spend time with them to keep a door open for them and know they are still loved and welcome in the church. You can be comforted in knowing that those involved in your kids' lives at CGLC truly care for and love them as God loves them.”

- Marian, mom of four

“Our family was looking for a home church as we did not have one. We attended Sunday service one day. We sat in the back and we were immediately greeted by a couple, Barb and Sam, who were members. I felt immediately at home. Not only is the staff welcoming, but the church family is something we look forward to every Sunday.”

- Annie, mom of two

“Our kids have attended school here since 2019 and I have worked at the school since 2022. When we decided to give weekend attendance here at CGLC a try, it was a night and day difference. For the kids and I especially, it felt like home right away. We stopped having to drag the kids out of bed each Sunday. The kids are excited to come, see their friends, and feel at home.”

- Sarah, mom of two

“From one parent to another: this is the place you're looking for. Your kids will be welcomed, they will be heard, and they will see what it is like to love Jesus and be loved by people. For the adults: there is something for you here. We have great worship, groups to join, and ways to serve, but mostly you'll see how Jesus' love is for you, and why that's so important for everything else in your life.”

- Andy, Dad of Three

“Our children have felt extremely loved and welcomed by the Grace Kids teachers and leaders. Even during seasons when our children have struggled with attachment, the church volunteers and Sunday School teachers have gone above and beyond to help our children feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. My daughter recently told me, ‘I feel like I could tell my leaders anything! I could just talk with them for hours!’”

- Katelin, mom of two

Introducing Kids to the Grace & Love of Jesus.

We walk alongside parents to build a Jesus-centered spiritual foundation for their children's lives. That means building relationships with both kids and parents as we encourage families to grow in their faith as disciples of Jesus together. This spiritual foundation begins to take shape by knowing Jesus, trusting Jesus, imitating Jesus, and speaking Jesus.

Sundays for Grace Kids

Nursery
9 & 10:30am

Nursery is available during both the 9am and 10:30am services every Sunday for children from infancy to three years old. Check in with a volunteer or staff member at the north end of the Commons to receive a nametag, security tag, and diaper bag label if needed. After checking in, signs will direct you to Room 114 in our preschool wing.

Sunday School
9am

From September to May, 1st-5th graders join their families for opening worship during the 9am services and then gather for Sunday School from both worship venues. Nursery, Preschool, and Kindergarten students are dropped off in their classrooms before services start. All grade levels may be picked up at 10:15am.

Grace Kids in Worship
9am & 10:30am

Kids join us in worship for the full service June-August, as well as once a month during the Sunday School year, usually on the First Sunday. This invites families to experience worship and Holy Communion together. First Sundays typically include a children's message. Activity bags for kids are also available every Sunday just inside worship venue entrances.
