The Bad News: Missing the Mark

Although we know in sin we "miss the mark", we often tend to try to 'move the mark' to aim for lesser goals we think we might be able to achieve, making them the measure of our righteousness, while ignoring what God actually cares about. Only when we confess Jesus alone can hit the mark for us, are we free to imperfectly live into the things of God, covered by Jesus' grace.
