Hello to my Family and Friends,

Sara Schader here. Or "Saara" in Spanish/creole. This is my 6th trip to Mission of Hope, but my 1st one at the Jarabocoa campus. I would like to share how the holy spirit moved through me during our construction roof project at Pastor Zamor's church. Our job today was to paint the steel beams for the roof. I have enjoyed painting stucco houses on my previous trips with Mission of Hope. I feel that somehow, God sent me here to paint and work on construction projects. The funds leftover from our 2025 Haiti packing event went to fund the roof project. I prayed last night for a good day. Today I felt a sense of accomplishment! My Guardian angels from above, the clouds, know that our hands painted those steel beams that will hold up the roof for years to come! Great hands make good work. I am proud of my team, from teenagers to 62-year-olds painted the ceiling beams for this beautiful church. I praise God for our teamwork painting today. That is all for now. Good night from the Mission of Hope Campus in Jarabocoa, Dominican Republic.

"Saara"
