Jordyn

Hola/Bonjou from The Dominican Republic!
Over the past few days I’ve been hanging out with the kids all the time. Feeling their love and knowing that I’m making a difference in their lives to them. But today, while I was sitting in the back of the church hanging out with this little girl, her mother came to grab her and take her home. But instead of leaving, she clung to me and started crying. Or while I was picking up trash around the village, another kid decided to come and help me clean up as well. This showed me that these kids adore spending their time with us and feel the love that we pour out to them. I feel a purpose that the Lord sent us all here for a reason and knew that we could provide them security and help. These children cherish every second that we have with them. God knew how to send us down here to provide everything that we can for these adults and children. This trip has given me the ability to make a positive impact on their lives and demonstrate the love and support God knew they needed.

The church wasn't safe for kids club this afternoon because of construction, so we helped the kids color and make bracelets in the cafeteria/bar next door!
