Isaac

The kids made a big impact on me this week. They had such joy in the litttle that they have, and their faith in God definitely strengthened mine. They showed me it’s not what you have physically, but spiritually that matters the most. My besties name is Isaiah. I was blessed that it was a Dominican holiday on Monday, so I was able to hang out with him for the entire first day, and we were just as excited to see each other each day after he was done with school!

 I was blessed to be able to assist in building the new roof on the church this week. I was able to help by painting the beams and framing the roof so they will have a safe dry place to worship on Sunday. 

I got out of my comfort zone and I was able to pray out loud during our time in the community this week! God also showed me that I don’t always have to be the one to pray, sometimes He just wants you to listen. I’m blessed to bring that knowledge back home with me.
